Welcome to the Cornerstone Charter Programme

The Cornerstone Charter is an accreditation programme designed to recognise and celebrate excellence in Masonic Lodges under the jurisdiction of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Berkshire.

How to Submit Your Lodge

  1. Access Your Lodge Portal - Use the unique access code provided to your Lodge Secretary to log in to the submission system.
  2. Complete the Self-Assessment - Work through each criterion, providing evidence where required. You can save your progress and return at any time.
  3. Upload Supporting Evidence - Attach documents, photos, or other materials that demonstrate your Lodge's achievements.
  4. Submit for Review - Once complete, submit your application for review by the Provincial team.

Assessment Process

After submission, your application will be reviewed by our trained auditors. They will assess your evidence against the established criteria and may contact you for clarification if needed.

Accreditation Levels

Lodges can achieve five levels of accreditation based on their self-assessment scores and auditor verification:

  • Level 5 - Outstanding excellence (95%+ score)
  • Level 4 - High achievement (85%+ score)
  • Level 3 - Good practice (70%+ score)
  • Level 2 - Developing (55%+ score)
  • Level 1 - Foundation (40%+ score)
